History

1959
Where it all began – With a small café, Hilda Brugger lays the foundation for the family business. A few years later, together with her husband Siegfried, she opens a small guesthouse with four rooms – a home for the very first holiday guests.
The early years
A sweet tradition is born – This is also when the story of our Brugger milk-cream ice cream begins. Made fresh every day with lots of love, it soon becomes known far beyond the village – and is still an essential part of our house today.
1989–2014
The Domizil keeps growing – In 1989 the house is extended, and in 2000 son Sieghard takes over the family business. With the new apartment building in 2014, there is finally even more room for holidays together.
2021
The next generation – Dominik takes over Domizil Brugger and carries the family story on into the third generation. With the new connecting wing and Sport Brugger, the house continues to evolve – with fresh ideas and an eye on everything that has always belonged here.
Today
With history. With heart. With us. – Today Domizil Brugger combines its long history with modern comfort and personal hospitality. Much has changed over the generations. The joy of welcoming people into our home has stayed the same.
